Skyroot Aerospace is a Hyderabad-based company. Three launch
vehicles � Vikram I, II, and III � can carry payloads ranging from 300 kg to
700 kg to low Earth orbit.
All Vikram variants have solid motors for the lower three stages (Kalam-1000,
Kalam-250, Kalam-100). Their initial Vikram-I would have the uppermost (fourth)
stage powered by N2O4/MMH and "Raman" engines. A future Vikram-III would
feature solid strap-ons as well.
Currently, the team is going to test a 3D printed upgraded Raman engine (Raman-II)
and a fully composite (carbon fiber) and high-performance solid rocket motor
Kalam-100.
