SpaceOne Co. is owned by Canon Electronics, IHI Aerospace, Shimizu Corporation and the Development Bank of Japan. It is planned to develop a Nano-LV "KAIROS" ((Kii-based Advanced & Instant Rocket System).

The 18m and 23 t launcher has three solid fuel stages, is 1.41m in diameter and has an additional kick stage (PBS). Such KAIROS solid-fuel motors has built by Ishikawajima-Harima for the "Mu" rockets.

Note
Space One Co Ltd is planning Japan's first private satellite launch in 2023. The satellite will be launched with KAIROS from a new Space Port Kii.
